Following the success of the 2012 tour of Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap and due to strong public demand for an other Christie whodunit, producers Michael Coppel, Louise Withers and Linda Bewick in association with Mousetrap Productions Ltd, London are proud to present, A Murder Is Announced.

On hand to solve the crime is the much loved Miss Marple, the super sleuth of murder mysteries.

A Murder is Announced is a Miss Marple mystery and the first of Christie's works featuring the "sensibly heeled" sleuth to appear on stage or screen. Of the beloved Marple, Christie said "There was no unkindness in Miss Marple, she just did not trust people. Though she expected the worst, she often accepted the people kindly in spite of what they were."

Touring Australia for the first time, A Murder is Announced, is a night of twists and turns, mystery & intrigue; that will have you at the edge of your seat.

With a stella all-Australian production, A Murder is Announced is a great opportunity to see Miss Marple as she tries to solve the murder in true Christie style.

'A murder is announced and will take place
on Friday October 13th, at 6.30pm.'

In an English village, you turn over a stone and have no idea what will crawl out. The villagers of Chipping Cleghorn, including Miss Marple, are agog with curiosity over an advertisement in the local gazette which reads: ‘A murder is announced and will take place on Friday 13th October, at Little Paddocks at 6.30pm.’ A childish practical joke or a hoax?
Unable to resist the mysterious invitation, a crowd begins to gather at Little Paddocks when, at the appointed time, the lights go out, a gun is fired and a body falls…

Can you guess whodunit?
